Today you have the opportunity to live a life full of vitality. For good!

It’s always faster, better and more efficiently! These words characterise the way of life and approach to living in recent decades. Even when we promise to take time off for ourselves, we are often still stuck in a rut. We take a step back only when we hear the alarm bells ring, signalling the onset of some health problems or symptoms. It is time to change this attitude.

Getter Mi Jalakas
Physician

“According to Statistics Estonia’s 2023 data, the average life expectancy of an Estonian is 79 years, but people in Estonia live only 58 of those years in good health. There is a 20-year gap between these two figures. The mission of my work is to help these indicators grow in harmony, so that people in Estonia can live long and healthy lives.

Aging is a privilege, and I believe that years only make us better. The problem, however, is that chronological aging is accompanied by biological aging. This brings with it diseases and ailments, as reflected in the statistics mentioned above. Until now, we have accepted this as an inevitable part of aging. I believe it doesn’t have to be this way. Modern preventive and longevity medicine makes it possible to accurately measure the body’s aging mechanisms, influence them, and even reverse biological aging. Prevention is the best medicine.”

Dr. Getter Mi Jalakas graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in June 2025 and is the newest longevity physician at the Happy Aging Clinic.

Anželika Aare
Physician

Dr Anželika Aare is a physician whose focus is on preventive and anti-aging medicine—a field dedicated not only to treating disease, but to preserving health, extending vitality, and increasing the number of years lived in good health. Her work is guided by the belief that modern medicine should shift from a disease-centered approach to a health-centered one—a global direction that Dr Aare has consciously embraced.

She obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu and completed her residency in family medicine in 2021. She began practicing medicine shortly thereafter, having already gained a deep understanding that her true calling lies in maintaining people’s health—not merely treating the consequences of illness.

At the Happy Aging Clinic, Dr Aare values the opportunity to use modern, personalized medicine–based tools such as genetic testing, microbiome and telomere analyses, comprehensive blood work, and high-tech diagnostic devices. Based on these, she creates individualized health plans that support a longer and healthier life.

“I hope that more and more people take an interest in their health already today—not only when problems arise. My goal is to support and guide people toward a healthier life, so that our population can enjoy more years lived in good health.”

Aet Tamm
Aesthetic Medicine Physician

Aet graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 2008 and subsequently continued her studies in an emergency medicine residency, which she completed in 2017. She began her journey in aesthetic medicine in 2015. Over the past nine years, she has participated in numerous trainings, hands-on seminars, and internationally recognized congresses led by widely respected specialists in the field.

“In my work, I value natural results, always starting from the person themselves and their unique features. I believe that every individual has their own beauty that can be preserved and maintained. There is no need to change everything or lose one’s individuality. Everyone has their own beauty. Graceful aging has taken on a new meaning today—to feel good in your body and to smile when you look in the mirror.”
